Welcome to Community Cards, where we showcase various hockey cards. Each post has a different theme. Today's theme is top 10 Sven Baertschi cards pulled by CnC. If you want to submit your cards to be featured on Community Cards, send an email to DHLineups@gmail.com.
Number 10: Black Diamond Ice
We are starting off with a nice hit numbered out of ninety-nine. The estimated value of this card is $30-$50, which is quite high for a card with no memorabilia.
Number 9: Panini Rookie Anthology
Coming in at number nine we have a dual-jersey rookie auto. This card feats dual red/black jerseys as well as a sticker autograph numbered to 199. The card is estimated value at around $10.
Number 8: Certified Rookie Jersey/Auto
Next up is another rookie jersey autograph. This card again features another sticker autograph, keeping this card from being ranked better on this list. Being numbered to 100 was a help however. This card is also worth about $10.
Number 7: Panini Limited Rookie Phenoms
No sticker on this card. We have a hard signed Rookie Phenoms card numbered to forty-nine. I’m a big fan of hard-signed memorabilia giving this card a lead over the last two cards. The estimated value of this card is also about $10.
Number 6: The Cup Draft Board
This card features a nice board hard-signed autograph. The card looks great because of the ink colour used, and the card is only numbered to twenty-five. This card has an estimated value of $40-60.
Number 5: Panini Rookie Anthology
We moved from sticker autographs to hard-signed and now up to hard signed with memorabilia. This card is numbered to 99 and features a hard signed autograph with a two colour patch in the background.
Number 4: Panini Rookie Anthology
This next card looks very similar to the last card, except that the background patch is three colour. The estimated value of these two cards is $25-40.
Number 3: The Cup Rookie Patch/Auto
The Cup’s rookie patch autographs are some of the most renowned collectors items. Here is Baertschi’s Cup RPA. This card features a hard signed autograph as well as a four colour patch. The estimated value of this card is around $80.
Number 2: The Cup Autograph Monumental Rookie Patch
Pretty monumental card coming in at number two. This card features dual patches, both four colour, as well as a hard signed autograph. I love unique cards like this especially when they are just numbered to three. This card is worth at least $200.
Number 1: Upper Deck Ultimate
The number one spot goes to this one of one rookie shield. This card is one of a kind and contains the NHL crest that is at the front of all NHL jerseys as well as a hard-signed autograph. The owner of this card was asking $450 for it last time it was posted on ebay.
